TERMS

Public prices are tax-inclusive starting estimates. A quote follows a review of scope, use and schedule. Sending an inquiry does not create a contract or payment obligation.

For personal commissions, a 50% deposit is due after the quote is agreed, with the remaining 50% due before final delivery.

For business commissions, deposits and payment on invoice can be discussed individually. The fee, payment method and specific due date must be agreed in writing or by email before production begins.

There is no fixed revision limit within the agreed scope. Composition changes after rough approval or additional work may affect the fee and schedule; any changes will be agreed in advance.

If a project is cancelled, payment is settled for work completed and any previously agreed, non-recoverable expenses. Any payment above the settlement amount will be refunded. This does not limit statutory rights.

Listed base prices are for personal and creator commissions. Base fees for businesses and studios are quoted individually based on the brief, usage and schedule. Agreed commercial use is included in the base fee.

Copyright remains with YAKIHOKO unless otherwise agreed. Transfer is not included in the base price. Copyright transfer or exclusive use requires a separate agreement on scope, duration and fees.

Media, purpose and duration are confirmed in the quote or agreement. Cropping and resizing for the agreed use are permitted. Please discuss substantial edits, additional uses or sublicensing in advance.

If copyright transfer is agreed separately, the transferred rights will be specified. Moral rights cannot be transferred under Japanese law; their treatment is discussed separately where necessary.

Redistribution or sale of the artwork as a standalone asset, use beyond the agreed scope, AI training and layered source files are not included in standard pricing. Please discuss any such requirements in advance.

Requests intended for rights infringement, impersonation or illegal activity are not accepted.

The production schedule is confirmed with the quote after reviewing scope and availability. Rush delivery within seven calendar days is subject to availability.

Portfolio publication follows the permission and release date agreed with you. Delivery dimensions and file formats are confirmed before production.

Updated September 6, 2026. Previously agreed commissions keep their existing terms. Applicable law takes precedence; project-specific quotes and contracts govern where they differ from these standard terms.
